The implementation was focused on bringing the full NetSuite complexity online in a way that felt intuitive for both B2B and B2C users by utilizing BigCommerce B2B Edition. 

  • Zero Manual Order Re-Entry: We established a high-frequency, bi-directional sync via Celigo. This automation ensures that orders, customer updates, and inventory levels are mirrored across systems in real-time, eliminating the risk of human error in data entry.

  • Advanced SKU Management: To manage the variety of bulk, bagged, and palleted goods, we utilized Virtual Variations. This streamlined a complex SKU structure, allowing customers to easily navigate products without overwhelming them with technical variations.

  • Data-Driven Design: The storefront was configured to serve Kurtz Bros.' specific logistical constraints. This "logic-first" approach meant the site was built to respect the business’s fulfillment rules, such as preventing the mixing of incompatible product types in a single delivery

In the landscape industry, delivery is a physical constraint that digital platforms often struggle to manage. Snapshot solved the "Fleet Overbooking" problem by treating truck capacity as a transactional record. 

  • Custom Truck Reservation System: We developed a custom, SuiteScript-based system in NetSuite that tracks real-world fleet availability against incoming orders. This effectively moved dispatch logic from a manual whiteboard to an automated digital record.

  • Operational Capacity Tracking: The system distinguishes between different truck types required for bulk vs. palleted goods, ensuring the right vehicle is reserved for the right load

  • Real-Time Dispatch Integration: By syncing this capacity data back to the storefront, we enabled a real-time delivery date picker. This allows customers to self-schedule deliveries with the confidence that their chosen window is backed by actual operational capacity.

We launched a full-service portal to transition Kurtz Bros. to a 24/7 self-service model for their professional contractors.

  • 12+ Advanced Portal Features: Customers can now access invoice PDFs, aging buckets (1-90+ days), credit status, and full transaction history without contacting customer service.

  • Azure SQL Middleware: To ensure high performance, we developed an Azure SQL middleware layer. This allows the portal to query massive amounts of historical data instantly, providing a "Big Box" retail experience without slowing down the primary ERP performance. 

  • Accounts Receivable Efficiency: By giving customers autonomy over their financial records, Snapshot significantly reduced the administrative load on the Kurtz Bros. AR team, allowing them to focus on high-value tasks rather than manual invoice requests.
