Branchline: NetSuite for HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Distributors

A NetSuite app for HVAC, plumbing and electrical distributors: counter pricing, will-call, text-to-order, SPA claims and rebate recovery, priced per branch.

Branchline Home dashboard for Prairie Supply's Des Moines branch: counter tickets rung today, will-call orders by stage, the text-to-order inbox, $4,539 owed on open SPA claims, the copper index trend, rebates received against earned, and job credit exposure against each job's limit, beside the Branchline left navigation
The Home dashboard. Each branch opens on what needs attention today: counter tickets, will-call orders waiting for pickup, texted orders to match, SPA money owed by manufacturers, the copper index, rebates still to collect and jobs closing in on their credit limit. Every card opens its screen, and “View as” trims it to one role. Demo data.
Branchline counter ticket for Hawkeye Electric on the Jordan Creek Apartments job: six priced lines tagged Job Price, Contractor Tier and Margin Floor, wire cut from a tracked reel, and account and job credit with amounts available, inside the Branchline app with its left navigation
The counter ticket. Every line shows the rule that priced it: the job's fixed or cost-plus price, the contractor's tier, or a margin floor that keeps the sale above the item's minimum margin. Wire comes off a tracked reel, and account and job credit update as lines are added. Live prices from the Prairie Supply demo account.
Branchline will-call board with orders in Open, Picking, Staged and Customer Notified lanes, each card showing customer, job, PO, total, bay and age
The will-call board. Orders move from open to picking, staged by bay and customer notified, and anything waiting too long is flagged before a pickup goes stale. Demo data.
Branchline SPA claim aging queue with open, ready and overdue claim totals, filters, and claims with contractor, age, amount, status and submission format
SPA claim aging. Ship-and-debit claims are created when an order is invoiced, aged by manufacturer, submitted as EDI 844, CSV or portal batches, and tracked until the credit arrives. Demo data.
What's in the box

Counter, will-call, claims and rebates in one NetSuite app.

Counter ticket

Job-aware pricing that shows which rule won: the job price, the contractor's tier or a manufacturer SPA. Ring it as a cash sale or charge it to the job.

Will-call board

Orders move from picking to staged by bay to customer notified, and Branchline holds or cancels an order automatically when nobody picks it up.

Text-to-order inbox

Contractors text in their order and inside sales turns the message into a sales order without retyping it.

SPA claims & rebate recovery

Ship-and-debit claims created automatically when an order is invoiced and exported as CSV or EDI 844, a claim-aging queue, and rebate accruals on a recovery dashboard.

Price files & commodity pricing

IDW and Trade Service price-file loading, commodity-indexed repricing for copper and PVC, and contractor tier pricing.

Jobs, reels & equipment

Job accounts with exposure roll-up and lien-notice reminders, cut-to-length wire and pipe reels, serialized HVAC equipment with warranty, and a consolidated job statement.

Why build on NetSuite

A NetSuite core that grows with your branches.

  1. Room to grow.NetSuite OneWorld handles acquisitions and new entities, SuiteCommerce runs the storefront, and finance keeps the native general ledger it already trusts.
  2. Fills the trade supply gaps.NetSuite does not include counter pricing, SPA ship-and-debit claims, job liens or commodity pricing for trade supply. Branchline adds them on supported APIs.
  3. Built on the forms you already use.Branchline adds subtabs to native NetSuite forms and uses server-rendered screens with no client scripts, which keeps it compatible with Redwood and NetSuite Next.

FAQ

Questions about Branchline

Don't see yours? Ask our NetSuite team and someone will get back to you.

What is Branchline?

Branchline is a NetSuite app from Snapshot Design for HVAC, plumbing and electrical distributors. It adds job-aware counter pricing, a will-call board, text-to-order, SPA ship-and-debit claims and rebate recovery to NetSuite, and every ticket, order and invoice saves as a native NetSuite record.

Who is Branchline built for?

Branchline is built for family-owned or ESOP trade supply distributors with $50M to $500M in revenue and 3 to 40 branches, selling HVAC, plumbing and electrical products from branch counters.

How is Branchline priced?

Branchline is priced per branch, with no per-user or per-module fees. Contact Snapshot for pricing based on your number of branches.

How does Branchline handle SPA ship-and-debit claims?

Branchline creates a ship-and-debit claim automatically when an order is invoiced, ages claims by manufacturer, submits them as EDI 844, CSV or portal batches, and tracks each claim until the credit arrives.

How does counter pricing work in Branchline?

Each counter ticket line shows the rule that priced it: a job price, the contractor's tier, a manufacturer SPA or a margin floor that keeps the sale above the item's minimum margin. Tickets ring as cash sales or charge to the job.

Can Branchline manage price files and commodity pricing?

Branchline loads IDW and Trade Service price files, reprices copper and PVC items against commodity indexes, and applies contractor tier pricing.

Will Branchline keep working after NetSuite updates?

Branchline is built with SuiteScript 2.1 and deployed through SDF, adding subtabs to native NetSuite forms and server-rendered screens with no client scripts. Building on supported APIs keeps it compatible with the Redwood interface and NetSuite Next.
